{Camera Update. yet again}

Well patience has been the name of the game in this process of getting a dslr camera. Remember this post wayyyy back in June when I felt the desire to get a camera? Well its been 4 months plus of alot of stuff happening.

Here is the long story short of it all:

A sponsor came forward and offered to pay for half the camera.

We tried paypal. Didn’t work. Tried paypal again. Didn’t work AGAIN.

So this person sent me a check. Someone en route stole the check & then stole all the money out of my sponsors account.

And now all of this has been taken to court a month ago or so and is getting sorted out.

SO…

please be praying that justice is done in this situation. That my sponsor would be repaid her money QUICKLY and then some.

Until then, I have amazing friends here who let me play around with there beautiful cameras. So this week I went for a walk and tried taking picture of nature. Here are a couple snapshots. Enjoy.

{Camera Update}

So the saga continues on the camera. For those who dont follow me on facebook let me give you the long story short. The last check for the camera was sent to me over two weeks ago but while in transit someone stole it in seattle and tried to cash it twice. The bank thank the Lord did not allow it. So now we are going to try and transfer money to me. Pray this works and are no hindrances! I am eagerly awaiting it. Its interesting how in this season I feel like I will have a ‘new’ dream exposed in my heart that i never knew was there, but then am to wait for it…learning patience in the realm of the plans the Lord has for me is humbling and stretching. I am excited for all that I can learn though from everything.

Blessings to you all.

Lou Engle is speaking tonight at church. I am sooo excited.

{Kayla Lynn Photography}

Kayla is an old classmate of mine from 6 years ago in Journalism. We reconnected on facebook awhile back and after she got her beautiful Nikon camera she needed some subjects to photograph. I instantly raised my hand. As my daddy said her pictures are that of a “top notch photographer”. And its true. I am only showing off a couple, but check out her facebook page HERE for details and for booking your own shoot with her.

& one last one.

You know you want beautiful pictures too! Go ahead and contact Kayla for your wedding & senior picture needs!!

{Because}

Because He is a God who works miracles I must share of His goodness.

I recieved a large bonus at my last day of work yesterday.

Decided I wanted to upgrade which camera I wanted to buy.

Then made over $130 at Yard Sale today.

Which means….

Once the paypal donations go through I will be off to Best Buy to buy my camera!

Wow! Talk about an incredible thing the Lord has done. Within 3 weeks I discovered a passion I never knew I had, asked abba for the money, and then within a week of asking for money I have all $750+.  My favorite part of all this, it has NOTHING to do with me. It was all Jesus, I can’t keep quiet about it, everytime I shoot with people they are going to hear the story about the camera! Learning to let Abba have His way in my life and letting go of all control has been the most delightfully FREEING thing I have ever done. PRAISE GOD.

Also. 4 more days & Im off on a plane.

{Camera Update}

As of today only $139 are needed in order to get photography camera.

PRAISE GOD!!

Over $600+ has been given in less than 2 weeks. GO GOD! If you feel the Lord leading you to help support me in this endeavor please go here . $5, $10, $20 can make a huge difference!

{Canon DSLR}

Photobucket2 weeks ago I picked up a friends camera and began taking pictures of the children at the party I was at. I was hooked from that moment on. Sure I had taken pictures with NICE cameras before, I had even shot senior pictures and engagement pictures. But it wasn’t a passion, it didn’t do to much for me, I actually didn’t ever understand why anyone would want to learn everything there is to learn on a camera and on photoshop. Until 2 weeks ago, it all clicked. Suddenly I wanted to know everything there was to learn on the camera, and I wanted to take pictures all day. Since then I have been doing my research, and about a week ago I got a word that I would get a camera before I left for IHOP or while I was there. I believed the word. Within a couple days I had a total stranger offer to pay for over half of the camera. Then several others came up with some more money towards camera fund. Friday I am having a fundraising Yard Sale were all funds will go towards camera. God has so abundantly been providing supernaturally for the things He is putting on my heart. Were I had no money for anything extra within 2 weeks I now almost have all the money.

So today I borrowed my dads camera and played around in the backyard of my work and snapped some shots. There is so much to learn about photography and post editing but I know Gods grace is more than enough in all things. Here are a couple shots from today:

This was my second time shooting kids with my dads camera.
